Shortcuts that I use commonly
  • 1) Whatever you type into the URL bar can be surrounded by www. & .com by pressing control + enter.

  • 2)  If you accidentally closed a tab then simply press CTRL + Shift + T to reopen the most recently closed tab.

  • 3) CTRL + backspace will delete the entire previous word and CTRL + arrow keys will jump to the start of the previous word.

  • 4) CTRL + L highlights the url/address bar in Chrome.

  • 5) Don’t hit control+alt+delete, hit control+shift+escape to go directly to the task manager.

  • 6) CTRL + shift + n opens up an incognito mode tab on chrome for private browsing. No cookies are stored.

  • 7) CTRL + SHIFT + R = Clear cache and then refresh page.
  • 8) Try searching “tilt” in the address bar in chrome.
  • 9) In VLC, if your audio loses sync with the video or subtitles, there is an easy way to fix this. Simply pressing J or K will move the audio forward or backwards. Similarly, to sync the subtitles you can press H or G.
